Over 100 participants in Anglican Deacons Canada's 2021 Virtual Conference met online on July 9-10, 2021 for a national gathering of deacons (and others who are supportive of the diaconate) to connect and learn together.
Special guests included Archbishop Linda Nicholls (Primate of the Anglican Church of Canada) and Susan Johnson (National Bishop of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Canada).
The conference was organized by the College of Deacons of the Anglican Diocese of Niagara.
We were very pleased that deacons from the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Canada (ELCIC) joined us for this event since the Anglican Church of Canada and the ELCIC are in full communion.
