Theological Statement on the Diaconate and "Practices for a Restored Diaconate" to be voted on at General Synod

Two motions relating to Deacons and the Diaconate will be voted on by lay and clergy delegates at General Synod 2025. Both were initiated by Anglican Deacons Canada with the support of the Faith Worship and Ministry Committee of the Anglican Church of Canada.

Both the Theological Statement on the Diaconate which General Synod members are being asked to "accept" and the "Practices for a Restored Diaconate" which General Synod members are being asked to "commend" as a "working document" are combined into one pdf document.  You can download this pdf and the text of the two motions below.
