This notice of meeting is to inform you that the 2026 Annual General Meeting for ADC will be held on Thursday, June 11, 2026 at 7:00pm EDT via Zoom. A link will be sent out to all members closer to June 11. You are warmly encouraged to attend.
Nominations for the ADC Board of Directors are also now invited. Attached is the “2026 Board of Directors Nominee Profile” form. It will also be posted on our website at www.anglicandeacons.ca. As well, information about the responsibilities of members of ADC’s Board of Directors is attached for your reference.
If you wish to be considered for election as a Director yourself or wish to nominate another ADC member to run for election as a Director, please complete the “2026 Board of Directors Nominee Profile” form and send it electronically to me at joanne@anglicandeacons.ca . The Nominee Profile form must be sent no later than midnight on Friday, May 8, 2026. These nominations will be forwarded to the ADC Nominations Committee for review and consideration, and a summary of the information from each selected nominee will be compiled and shared electronically with all ADC members prior to June 11, 2026.
Please prayerfully consider your own charisms as well as the charisms of others in this nomination process. At this time, the ADC Board is looking for a Treasurer to work with our Chartered Public Accountant, an editor for our electronic newsletter Salt & Light, and persons with an interest in Communications. However, you may also have other skills and experiences that would allow you to make a very effective and positive contribution to ADC!
